Midi Dress Part II

Good morning sweeties!

It seems like the fall does´t want to arrive and the days are still super hot here in Madrid. I´m a bit tired of this warm weather and want to get out my cozy sweaters and coats from the closet. Last week I showed you this same dress but in a more fancier and put together look. This time I want to show you how to dress down such a versatile piece and create a very casual and wearable look, perfect for lazy days. I changed the heel sandals and went for a pair of cool sneakers. I love pairing fancy dresses with casual trainers for a casual chic outfit. Then, I added a Panama hat for a more summery vibe. Do you like dressing down fancy pieces?

Buenos días bombones!

Parece que el otoño no quiere llegar y los días siguen siendo súper calurosos en Madrid. Estoy ya un poco cansada del sol y el calor porque quiero sacar mis jerséis y abrigos ya del armario. La semana pasada os enseñé este mismo vestido en un look más elegante para el trabajo. Hoy quiero enseñaros como vestir este mismo vestido de una forma más casual y «ponible». Un vestido muy versátil que también podemos llevar en ocasiones más informales. Cambié las sandalias de tacón por unas zapatillas deportivas porque me encanta mezclar prendas que no tienen nada que ver. Así consigo ese efecto casual chic que tanto me gusta. Por último, añadí un sombrero Panamá para acompañar más a este tiempo veraniego. ¿A vosotros también os gusta mezclar prendas formales e informales?

Packing for Summer Holidays

Good morning guys!

I´m going off to the beach tomorrow for a week and I wanted to show you which are my clothing travel essentials when going to the beach. First of all, my very first essential when going to the beach is a good beach bag. I love straw beach bags and I´ve worn them for ages now and I don´t think I´m going to change. Mine is from Primark and I usually carry suncreams, a book, water and my towel. My towel is new from Primark and I love the color combo with white and pastel blue. It´s super cute and girly! Next, a Panama hat and a kimono are my summer essentials to achieve that boho chic look that I love. Also, the Panama hat comes really handy when sunbathing at the beach. Moving on, I always take with me accessories like cool sunnies, a statement necklace and a summery colorful clutch to spice up my outfits. Cool and trendy bikinis or swimsuits are also an important essential. And last but not least, chunky heel sandals and platform slides are my go-to shoes when on holidays because they´re fancy but still very comfortable to walk in during all night. Me voy a la playa mañana y quería enseñaros qué prendas y accesorios son mis imprescindibles cuando hago la maleta para irme de vacaciones. Lo primero de todo y de lo que nunca me olvido es de mi bolsa de la playa. Siempre me han gustado los bolsos de paja y llevo años siendo fiel a este tipo de bolsa de playa. En él llevo mis cremas, algún libro, agua y mi toalla. Esta toalla/pareo la compré en Primark porque me enamoré de la combinación de colores con el blanco y el azul pastel. ¡Es una monada! A continuación, un sombrero tipo Panamá y un kimono son imprescindibles para crear mis looks estilo boho chic. Además, el sombrero viene muy bien para tomar el sol en la playa. También me suelo llevar accesorios como unas gafas de sol chulas, un collar llamativo y un clutch colorido y veraniego para complementar y animar mis outfits. Bikinis y bañadores de tendencia también son un imprescindible cuando llega el verano. Por último, las sandalias de tacón gordo o las plataformas son mi calzado favorito cuando me voy a la playa porque son arregladas, pero muy cómodas para andar en ellas toda la noche. ¡Espero que os hayan gustado mis imprescindibles para la playa y os hayan resultado interesantes!

Dress over pants

Good morning babes!

This winter I started seeing on many blogs the new trend of styling dresses or skirts with pants or jeans. At first time I thought it would be too daring for me but I´ve seen so many outfits that incorporate this trend that I finally started loving it. I think it´s super original, creative and different and also is a great way to wear dresses or skirts without tights. This is the first time I´ve tried to style a dress with pants and I quite like the result. I think I´m gonna keep trying! I went for a grey lingerie style dress that I paired with some camo print jeans. On my feet I´m wearing delicate black strappy sandals that give the look that chic touch and to complete it I added some accessories such as a white Panama hat, a mini black bag and some cool black sunnies. What do you guys think, do you like this new trend?

Este invierno empecé a ver en algunos blogs la tendencia de combinar vestidos y faldas con pantalones. Al principio pensé que esta tendencia podría ser demasiado arriesgada para mí, pero he visto ya tantos looks que apuestan por ella que ha acabado por convencerme. Creo que es una idea original, creativa y diferente. Además, es una buena forma de llevar los vestidos y las faldas sin tener que usar medias. Esta es la primera vez que he creado un look siguiendo esta tendencia y el resultado me ha gustado bastante. ¡Seguiré intentándolo! He combinado un vestido lencero gris con unos pantalones de estampado de camuflaje. En los pies llevo unas sandalias negras que le dan ese toque chic al conjunto y lo he complementado todo con accesorios como un sombrero blanco tipo Panamá, un bolso pequeño negro y unas gafas de sol negras. ¿Qué os parece chicos, os gusta esta nueva tendencia?

Caged Sandals

Good morning cuties!

It´s monday again but I´m super excited to start this week because it´s my birthday on thursday! I can´t wait for it to arrive! Today´s outfit is perfect for a casual monday and it´s very springy. You all know how much I love my hats and I can´t stop wearing my Panama hat during the spring/summer season. It just goes great with any outfit! This time I decided to style it with some black shinny leggings, a white slouchy shirt and my spiked denim jacket to add that touch of coolness to the look. On my feet I´m wearing my caged sandals. They´re super in trend this season and I love them because they´re very casual and comfy but they add a very funny touch to the outfit. They’re like kids shoes! Last but not least, I accessorized a bit the look with some black sunnies and a cross body bag. What do you guys think?

Buenos días monadas!

Es lunes otra vez, pero estoy súper emocionada con el comienzo de esta semana porque el jueves es mi cumpleaños! Qué ganas de que llegue ya! El outfit de hoy es perfecto para un lunes informal y es muy primaveral además. Ya todos sabéis lo mucho que me gustan los sombreros y en la temporada de primavera/verano no puedo despegarme de mi sombrero tipo Panamá. Queda bien con cualquier cosa que me ponga! Esta vez lo combiné con unos leggings brillantes negros, una camisa suelta blanca y mi chaqueta vaquera de pinchos, que aporta ese toque cool que siempre me gusta darle a mis conjuntos. En los pies llevo unas cangrejeras o sandalias de tiras. Están muy de moda esta temporada y a mi me encantan porque, a parte de ser muy casual y cómodas, le dan un toque chic y divertido al outfit. Me recuerdan al calzado de los niños! Por último, he completado el look con unas gafas de sol negras y un bolso cruzado en el mismo color. Qué os parece chicos?
