The Comfiest Option

Good morning dears!

Today´s look is a lot more different to yesterday´s. My style is really versatile and always depends on my mood. I can go for a really grunge and edgy outfit or choose a more chic and girly option.

Today´s look is pretty edgy and sporty because it´s what I like to wear when I want to stay comfortable all day long. For example, this is a great option to wear on a road trip. I styled some black culottes with a white crop top and a leather moto jacket on top. On my feet I went for some sneakers to give the look that sporty touch that you can totally change by switching the sneakers for some heels or flatforms.

Lastly, I completed the look with a denim clutch with some cool patchwork going on and a nice pair of sunglasses. These are my newest acquisition from the Zero UV store which is my favorite eyewear brand. They have so many cool designs… What do you think?

El look de hoy es completamente diferente al de ayer. Mi estilo es muy versátil y siempre depende de mi humor y de lo que vaya a hacer ese día. Algunas veces apuesto por un estilo muy grunge y masculino y otras me inclino por una opción más chic y femenina.

El look de hoy es bastante masculino y deportivo porque quería ponerme algo cómodo. Por ejemplo, esta es una gran opción para llevar cuando vamos a viajar en coche. Combiné unos culottes negros con un crop top blanco y una chaqueta de cuero por encima. En los pies aposté por unas zapatillas para darle el toque deportivo, algo que podemos dejar a un lado cambiando las zapatillas por unos tacones o plataformas. 

Por último, completé el conjunto con una cartera denim con parches y unas gafas de sol muy chulas. Son mi última adquisición en Zero UV, mi tienda favorita para comprar gafas. Tienen unos diseños increíbles… ¿Qué opináis?

Lace Up

Good morning cuties!

Today I want to stop a minute and talk about something that always happens to me and pisses me off. I don´t know if I have super sensitive feet but there are so many shoes that hurt my feet and leave me horrible blisters. Zara shoes hurt me like the most and every time I wear a pair for the first time I take two steps and I´m already crying in pain. I don’t know if you suffer from this too but it´s the proof that fashion can really hurt sometimes. My boyfriend is always complaining because he´s constantly asking me to wear sneakers and stay comfortable rather than wearing painful shoes.

I´m talking about this because the shoes I´m showing you today are a very good example. When I first tried them on I thought they were the comfiest shoes ever but nah! After walking for about half an hour they started making me blisters everywhere. My feet have now a lot of scars and they´re all because of the shoes. Besides this, I love how they look. I hate when beautiful shoes are the most painful ones…

I decided to wear them with some navy blue culottes and an off the shoulder top. I like wearing lace up shoes with long or midi pieces because if you wear them with shorts or shorter skirts they can make your legs look huge. Lastly, I completed the look with a nice clutch and some red lips to make the look more chic and elegant. What do you think?

Buenos días monadas!

Hoy quiero pararme un rato para hablaros de algo que siempre me ha pasado y que me da mucha rabia. No sé si tengo los pies hipersensibles, pero la mayoría de zapatos suelen hacerme daño y siempre acabo con ampollas o rozaduras. Los zapatos de Zara son los más «matadores» como digo yo. Cada vez que los estreno me echo a llorar tras haber dado dos pasos. No sé si a vosotros os pasará lo mismo, pero es la prueba de que la moda a veces duele y mucho. Mi novio siempre se queja y me pide que me ponga unas zapatillas cómodas en vez de escoger siempre el calzado más doloroso.

Os hablo de esto porque los zapatos que llevo hoy son un claro ejemplo. Cuando me los probé por primera vez me parecieron comodísimos, pero erroooor. Después de caminar una media hora en ellos los pies me empezaron a doler muchísimo y me hicieron heridas por todos lados. Ahora tengo los pies llenos de cicatrices y es un horror. A pesar de esto, me parecen unos zapatos preciosos y me encantan. Cuanto más bonito es el zapato, más dolor causa.

Decidí ponérmelos con unos culottes azul marino y un top de hombros al aire. Este tipo de zapatos siempre suelo combinarlos con prendas largas o midi porque me da la sensación de que ensanchan mucho la pierna con prendas más cortas. Por último, completé el look con una cartera y unos labios en rojo para dar ese toque chic y femenino. ¿Qué os parece?

Happy girl with a turban

Good morning lovelies!

We start the last week of may. Summer is just around the corner and I couldn´t be more excited! I keep rocking my boho chic style and today´s look is one of my favorites. I´ve wanted a turban for the longest time and I´ve finally bought one. I usually wear scarfs tied around my head as a turban but this one is an actual turban and I think it looks really cool.

I decided to style the turban with pieces that match the boho vibe of this accessory. Some black culotte pants and an off the shoulder top and I´m good to go. Very casual and easy. On my feet I went for some platform lace up shoes and completed the outfit with more accessories. The black cat eye sunglasses give the look a pretty chic touch and the black clutch puts it all together. What do you think?

Comenzamos la última semana de mayo. ¡El verano está a la vuelta de la esquina y tengo muchísimas ganas! Sigo enganchada al estilo boho chic y el look de hoy es uno de mis favoritos. Llevo mucho tiempo queriendo un turbante y por fin me he comprado uno. Normalmente me ato pañuelos en la cabeza, pero ahora tengo un turbante de verdad. Creo que es un accesorio de lo más cool.

Decidí combinarlo con prendas que sintonizasen con el estilo boho del turbante. Mi elección fueron unos culottes negros y una blusa de hombros al aire. Muy sencilla y casual. En los pies aposté por unos zapatos de cordones y plataforma y completé el outfit con más complementos. Las gafas de sol ojo de gato le dan un toque chic al conjunto y la cartera negra termina de completarlo. ¿Qué os parece?

Contageous Spring Wishlist

Good morning babes!

A quick post today since I have a lot of errands tu run. I´m leaving to Alicante later in the afternoon and I have to finish so many things…

I want to talk you about this new brand Contageous that I recently discovered and which I love. They have very cool stuff and very my style. I´ve chosen a few things that I added to my spring wishlist and that I think put together a very cute outfit. I picked up pieces that are super in trend at the moment like culottes or slip ons. Quiero hablaros de la marca Contageous, una marca que he descubierto hace poquito y que me encanta. Tienen prendas súper chulas y muy de mi estilo. He escogido algunas cosas que he añadido a mi lista de deseos para primavera y que crean un look muy mono. Shark Case

Good morning cuties!

I love searching for new cases and the more eye-catching they are the more I like them. I love them big and outstanding with cute shapes like pets, ice-creams and that kind of cute things.

My collection is growing bigger and bigger each day and my latest purchase was this Stella McCartney inspired one. It´s this grey shark which I think looks really cool. I bought it in Aliexpress since I´m not willing to pay a big amount of money for just a phone case. Aliexpress or Ebay are the best places to buy this kind of accessories.

I decided to style the phone case with a very minimal and cool outfit with culottes and a big oversized sweater. On my feet I went for some chunky heel boots and completed the look with a nude clutch and some sunnies. What do you think?

Siempre ando buscando nuevas fundas para el teléfono y cuanto más llamativas son más me gustan. Me encantan las grandes y originales con formas cucas como los animales, helados y ese tipo de cosas dulces y monas.

Mi colección cada vez es más grande y mi última adquisición ha sido el tiburón inspirado en Stella McCartney. Creo que la forma del tiburón queda muy chula y diferente. La compré en Aliexpress porque no me veo pagando una cantidad muy elevada por una simple funda de teléfono. Aliexpress y Ebay son los mejores sitios para encontrar este tipo de accesorios.

Decidí combinar la funda con un look muy minimalista y cool con los culottes y un jersey grande. En los pies aposté por unos botines de tacón grueso y completé el conjunto con una cartera nude y unas gafas de sol. ¿Qué os parece?

It´s a boy

Good morning lovelies!

I want to start the week and this new month with a very masculine outfit and featuring one of my favorite pieces: culottes. I recently got this navy blue culottes and I love them. I find them super easy to style and I´m going to wear them like crazy this spring.

Since we´re still in winter and we need to add more layers and coziness I decided to style them with a light grey turtleneck. On my feet I went for some platform loafers with socks and I love the black, grey and navy blue combination. I think it looks very wintery, edgy and cool.

Lastly, I addd a few accessories with a cool clutch and some cat eye sunglasses. I love how this sunnies look with my hair tucked in the turtleneck. What do you think?

Quiero comenzar la semana y este nuevo mes con un look muy masculino que tiene como protagonista una de mis prendas favoritas: los culottes. Hace poco que tengo estos culottes azul marino y me encantan. Los encuentro muy sencillos de combinar y me los voy a poner muchísimo esta primavera.

Como todavía estamos en invierno tuve que ponérmelos con prendas más gruesas y calentitas. Decidí combinarlos con un jersey de cuello alto gris claro. En los pies aposté por unos mocasines de plataforma con calcetines. Como resultado una combinación de colores que me encanta: azul marino, negro y gris. Creo que queda muy invernal, cool y grunge. 

Por último, añadí un par de accesorios como la cartera y las gafas de sol ojo de gato. Me encanta cómo quedan estas gafas con el pelo metido por dentro del jersey. ¿Qué os parece?

Sunday Inspo: Knitted Bottoms

Good morning sweeties!

Knitted pants have been a big trend this autumn/winter season and I had to talked about them since I really like the concept. I don´t own any knitted trousers since they don´t fit me really well but I think they´re the comfiest piece of clothing ever made. They´re such a warm and cozy garment for the cold days… I wished I could own a pair since I´m sure I would wear them almost every single day.

There are many different types of knitted trousers: joggers, flare pants, culottes… You can choose whichever suits more your style. I have to say I´ve only tried on knitted culottes so I´m going to try and find a nice pair of knitted flared pants and hope they suit me better. I´ve been seeing this trousers in many spring/summer 2015 lookbooks so they´re not going to be out of fashion anytime soon. Now I´ll show you some outfit pictures I found in Pinterest and that I think are quite inspiring when styling this kind of pants. Hope you like them!

Buenos días bombones!

Los pantalones de punto han sido una de las grandes tendencias esta temporada otoño/invierno y quería hablar de ellos porque me gusta mucho el concepto. Yo no tengo ningunos porque los que me he probado me sentaban fatal, pero creo que son la prenda más cómoda del mundo. Son tan calentitos e idóneos para los fríos días de invierno… Estoy segura de que si tuviera unos me los pondría prácticamente todos los días.

Este tipo de pantalones los podemos encontrar de varios estilos: joggers, pantalones de campana, culottes… Podéis escoger el que más os guste y se adecue a vuestro estilo. He de decir que yo sólo me he probado los tipo culotte, por lo que voy a empezar a buscar unos de campana a ver si me sientan mejor. He visto este tipo de pantalones en varias campañas para la próxima temporada primavera/verano 2015, por lo que esta prenda no va a pasarse de moda demasiado pronto. Ahora os enseñaré algunas fotos de outfits que he encontrado en Pinterest y que pueden ser una gran fuente de inspiración a la hora de combinarlos. ¡Espero que os gusten!

How I wear culottes in winter

Good morning sweeties!

Today I want to show you how I style a summer piece during the winter season. I love playing with my clothes and wearing summer things during the colder months and viceversa.

In this case we´re talking about culottes. The key thing to wear culottes in winter is wearing some tights underneath and throwing on some boots on out feet. Knee high boots are the ones I like the most with culottes specially if they´re short. For the top part, I always layer some kind of sweater and a coat. Long coats are my thing at the moment so I went for this long black duster coat to finish the outfit.

Lastly, I decided to wear an orangy brown bag to give the look a bit of color since I´m wearing a lot of black pieces even thought the culottes are super colorful. What do you think?

Hoy quiero enseñaros cómo combino una prenda de verano durante la temporada de invierno. Me encanta jugar con la ropa y ponerme cosas de verano en invierno y viceversa.

En este caso estamos hablando de los culottes. La clave para combinar culottes en invierno es llevar medias debajo y ponernos unas buenas botas. Las botas por encima de la rodilla son mis preferidas, especialmente si los culottes son más cortos. Para la parte de arriba siempre combino un jersey con un abrigo. Últimamente me gustan mucho los abrigos extra largos, por lo que opté por este abrigo largo negro para terminar el conjunto.

Por último, añadí un bolso marrón anaranjado para darle un toque de color a un look muy negro, aunque los culottes tienen este estampado tan colorido. ¿Qué os parece?

Por las calles de Madrid

Good morning gorgeous!

I love my long walks in Madrid. Fall is my favorite season in the city. The streets look so beautiful and magical… A couple of days ago I got to go to one of my uncle´s private exhibitions in Madrid and I loved it.

I´ve already talked about my uncle´s artwork in a special post that I did last year and that you can check out here if you want to know more about his pieces. I can´t wait to have one of his art pieces in my own home hopefully in a near future.

For this occasion I chose a chic but comfortable evening outfit. You all know how much I love my culottes and this time I decided to style them with a chunky knit khaki green sweater. Khaki green and black is my favorite color combination at the moment. For the accessories, I went for a gold cross necklace and a leopard print clutch to add more fun to the look. Lastly, I decided to wear some black strappy sandals to keep it all very simple and minimalistic. Hope you like it!

Buenos días preciosos!

Me encantan mis largos paseos por las calles de Madrid, tal y como dice la canción de Maldita Nerea. El otoño es mi estación favorita en la ciudad. Las calles están preciosas, con un toque muy mágico… Hace un par de días tuve la oportunidad de asistir a una de las exposiciones privadas de mi tío aquí en Madrid y me encantó. 

Ya os he hablado antes del arte de mi tío en un post especial que hice el año pasado y que podéis leer aquí si estáis interesados en conocer más sus trabajos. A mí me encantan sus esculturas y espero poder tener una en mi propia casa en un futuro no muy lejano. 

Para esta ocasión elegí un look de tarde chic, pero cómodo al mismo tiempo. Ya todos sabéis lo mucho que me gustan mis culottes y esta vez decidí combinarlos con un jersey de punto en verde khaki. El verde khaki y el negro es mi combinación de colores favorita en este momento. En cuanto a los accesorios, aposté por un collar de cruces dorado y una cartera de leopardo que alegra mucho el look. Por último, me puse unas sandalias negras sencillas para seguir una línea muy minimalista. ¡Espero que os guste!

Baggy Pants

Good morning cuties!

I have to admit that culottes are just my thing, I love them. Every time I see a look with a pair of culottes I fall in love immediately. I think these kind of pants are the coolest ever and they´re so comfy. I like to wear them in casual everyday outfits but also in a fancier way like for a meeting or to go to work. This time I decided to show you a look in which I style a pair of culottes in a more dressed up way. I´ve already said you that basic sweaters are my closet essential because I wear them almost everyday during the fall/winter season. For today´s look I went for a pair of black culottes with a grey sweater and some chunky heel mules. The perfect outfit to go to work or a meeting. I love how formal but easy this outfit is and I think is pretty comfy and wearable. Lastly, I completed the look by adding a monochrome bag and a small belt. What do you think?

He de admitir que los culottes son mi prenda estrella, me encantan. Cada vez que veo un look con este tipo de pantalones me llama la atención inmediatamente. Creo que son una pasada y además comodísimos. Me gusta llevarlos en conjuntos informales para el día a día, pero también de forma más elegante para ir a una reunión o al trabajo. Esta vez he querido enseñaros un look en el que visto más los culottes. Ya os he dicho que los jerséis básicos son un imprescindible en mi armario porque me los pongo casi todos los días durante la temporadas otoño/invierno. En el look de hoy he combinado unos culottes negros con un jersey gris y unos zuecos de tacón grueso. El conjunto perfecto para ir a trabajar o a una reunión. Me encanta lo formal que es, pero sencillo y muy «ponible» al mismo tiempo. Por último, he completado el outfit añadiendo un bolso en blanco y negro y un cinturón fino. ¿Qué os parece?
