Purple Smokey Eye

Hi beauties!

Today I´m going to show you an eye make up that I like a lot. Purple is a color that suits almost everyone but it looks specially good with brown or green eyes. I really enjoy doing a smokey eye for a night look but I usually don´t wear it on a daily base. There are a lot of different ways for doing a smokey eye and this is how I personally do it. Hoy voy a enseñaros un maquillaje de ojos que me encanta. El morado es un color que encaja con casi todo el mundo, pero queda especialmente bien en ojos marrones o verdes. Me gusta mucho el ahumado de ojos para un look de noche, pero no suelo llevarlo para el día a día. Hay muchas formas distintas de hacer un ahumado y esta es cómo yo personalmente lo hago. First of all, start by applying your foundation, concealer and pressed or loose powder. Use a blush in a very light and natural color because we want to focus all the attention in the eye area. You can contour as well if you want too. Then, I went on and filled in my eyebrows because I like them to be dark and bold when I do a dark eye make up.

Once we´re done with our face, let´s get straight into our eyes. Prime your eyes for the eyeshadow to stay longer and apply a black color all over your lid. That will be the base of the make up. I used the black color of a Chanel palette that´s called Les 4 Ombres 93 Smoky Eyes. Then go ahead and apply some purple eyeshadow and blend it all out. After that I applied a black eyeshadow all over the lid and blend it out in a cat eye shape. Apply a bit more of purple if you want to and also apply that purple color on your bottom lash line to give more depth to the look.  To finish the make up, apply some mascara and a highlighter in your brow bone. And voilá!

Empieza por aplicar el fondo de maquillaje, el corrector y polvos. Utiliza un colorete en un color muy natural porque queremos centrar toda la atención en los ojos. También puedes contornear el rostro si quieres. Luego, he rellenado las cejas con sombra de ojos porque me gusta que estén gruesas y oscuras cuando llevo un maquillaje de ojos oscuro. 

Una vez que hemos acabado con el rostro, pasamos directamente a los ojos. Es conveniente aplicar primer en los párpados para que nos dure más el maquillaje. Aplica una sombra negra por todo el párpado. Este será el color base del maquillaje. Yo he utilizado la sombra negra de una paleta de Chanel que se llama Les 4 Ombres 93 Smoky Eyes. Luego aplica un poco de sombra morada por el párpado centrándote en la zona del centro y difumínalo muy bien.  Aplica la sombra negra dibujando una mirada felina muy difuminada. Puedes aplicar un poco más de ese color morado y también aplícalo en la línea de pestañas inferior para darle más profundidad  a la mirada. Por último, aplica máscara de pestañas y un iluminador en la zona inferior de la ceja! Y voilá!
